The success of the 1st ICANaRD in 2021 hosted by Indonesian Center for Agricultural Socio-Economic and Policy Studies (ICASEPS) has inspired the 2nd ICANaRD to focus its directives on specific food crops. The 1st ICANaRD was intended to maintain the exchange of knowledge on policy support that makes it possible to improve resource management for agricultural competitiveness towards progressive, independent, and modern agriculture. The 2nd ICANaRD is specifically designed to provide an appropriate arena for discussing, exchanging and supporting ideas, challenges and opportunities to enable policy measurement towards a sustainable rice supply chain and resilience of rural resources. The socio-economic aspects of rice in a broad sense must enrich the latest data and information so as to enable more appropriate policy making in the development of the food systems. This conference will be held in collaboration with the Indonesian Agricultural Economic Association (ISAE).
